RENTAL AGREEMENT: I accept full responsibility for the equipment list on this form and agree to pay for any damage to the equipment and replace the equipment at the full retail value if damaged to such an extent that repairs are not feasible or practical.
All renters agree to the following:
1. If bike is locked and unattended, the renter still assumes total responsibly of the safe keeping of the bike whether it is lost, damaged or stolen.
2. A $25 fee will be charged for lost keys or locks. $10 fee for tire flat replacement.
RISKS OF BICYCLING: I fully realize and appreciate the dangers of riding a bicycle on open public roads and fully assume the risks associated with this activity including, by way of example but not limitation, the dangers of collision with pedestrians, vehicles, other cyclists, and fixed or moving objects; the dangers arising from surface hazards, pot holes, broken roads, equipment failure, inadequate safety equipment, and weather conditions; and the possibility of serious physical and/or mental trauma or injury associated with bicycle related mishaps. I understand that potentially dangerous situations may arise during events which are beyond the control of Stay Classy Bicycle Rentals. Knowing these risks involved, I nevertheless agree to assume those risks and to release all the persons or entities mentioned below for any injury, death, illness or property damages occurred.
BICYCLE SAFETY: I acknowledge that I have been advised to wear an approved helmet and /or protective gear while cycling. I am aware that cycling is subject to all applicable municipal and state highway traffic regulations. I am familiar with the proper use of the equipment, including all quick release mechanisms, brakes and gear shifters. I am aware that there are technicians available to answer any questions that I may have as to the proper use of the equipment. I have made no representations regarding my cycling ability.
RELEASE: Having read the foregoing material, I hereby waive, release, and discharge, for myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, any rights or claims which I have or may hereafter accrue to me against the officers, employees, owners and staff of Stay Classy Bicycle Rentals.
STAY CLASSY BICYCLE RENTALS: Cannot be held responsible for changes in bicycle and accessories rentals and tour prices, change in itinerary and tour cancellations. Additionally, Stay Classy Bicycle Rentals cannot be held liable for theft or loss of any personal gear including bicycle.
