Event Name: 2018 Senior Class Graduation Overnight Adventure (“2018 Grad Party”)

Returning Time: approximately 11 a.m. May 30, 2018
We, the undersigned, understand that a bus trip to and party at destinations within a 150 mile radius from the Woodside Priory School (together referred to in this Release as the “Destinations”) has been organized by several parents of the Woodside Priory 12th grade class and is not a school-sponsored event. There will be bus transportation to and from the destinations (leaving from Priory School). At the event, students will engage in eating, non-alcoholic drinking and other activities found at parties. The bus transportation and events are referred to as the “2018 Grad Party.”
By signing below, student, parents and/or guardians agree to release from liability the Parent Organizers (listed below) of this event, the Woodside Priory School, any additional parent volunteers assisting at 2018 Grad Party, and the Destinations including its principals, directors, officers, agents, employees and volunteers, of any and all liability associated with any acts, intentional or non-intentional, resulting in injury or death, or personal property damage at the Destinations.
The undersigned are aware that participation in the 2018 Grad Party, use of the bus and facilities located on the bus and at the Destinations, involves risks of injury to persons or property, including, but not limited to, risks related to human error, participation, and damage to personal property. The undersigned understands too, it is impossible for the Parent Organizers, parent volunteers, the bus company, or the Destinations to guarantee absolute safety. The undersigned also understands that we are responsible for our own safety, and we assume that responsibility. By signing below, we agree to comply with the rules received and the directions of the bus company, the Destinations, and the Parent Organizers.
BY SIGNING BELOW, WE FREELY ASSUME ALL RISKS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO OUR TRAVEL TO/FROM AND STAY AT THE DESTINATIONS, NO MATTER IF ANY DAMAGE OR HARM OF ANY KIND OCCURS BEFORE, IN BETWEEN, DURING OR AFTER SUCH STAY AT THE DESTINATIONS OR AT ANY TIME DURING THE 2018 GRAD PARTY.
As lawful consideration for the undersigned being permitted to participate in the 2018 Grad Party, WE AGREE TO RELEASE FROM ANY LEGAL LIABILITY AND AGREE NOT TO SUE THE PARENT ORGANIZERS, PARENT VOLUNTEERS, WOODSIDE PRIORY SCHOOL OR THE DESTINATIONS, their family members, heirs, agents, employees or volunteers for any and all injuries, property loss, property damage, or death caused by or resulting from any use of the facilities during this Grad Party, whether or not such injury, property loss, property damage, delay, or death was caused by alleged negligence. We further understand and agree that this release is to be binding upon our heirs and assignees. WE ARE AWARE THAT THIS CONTRACT IS LEGALLY BINDING AND THAT WE ARE RELEASING LEGAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT.
Code of Conduct:
By signing below, you acknowledge that each student shall be held personally responsible for their behavior and may be required to compensate the Destinations, the Parent Organizers, the Parent Volunteers, or other students in the event that such behavior causes property damage or personal injury.
By signing below, you also acknowledge that alcohol or drug consumption during the entire 2018 Grad Party (whether in transit or at the Destinations or any other location) is strictly prohibited. If a student is judged to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol before boarding the bus, they will not be allowed on the bus and parents will be called for pick up.
By signing below, you also agree to behave in accordance with the school’s code of conduct outlined within the student handbook.
By signing below, you further agree to accept responsibility, including but not limited to reimbursement for all costs, for transportation to and/or from the event by a hired car in the event that your child is found to have been drinking, consuming drugs or behaving outside the Priory Code of Conduct.
By signing below, you also authorize any medical attention deemed necessary in the event of an injury while participating in the 2018 Grad Party.
We have read this Acknowledgement and agree to all terms contained herein. We hereby agree to abide by the prohibition of drugs and alcohol and agree to accept responsibility for my [my child’s] behavior. We hereby release from all liability the Parent Organizers, Woodside Priory School, Parent Volunteers, and the Destinations for all causes arising from this event.
