I understand that Kitten Yoga at Flow Space is an interactive event with live baby felines and includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education, and relief of muscular tension. Participation this class includes, but is not limited to, participation in meditation techniques, breathing techniques, performing various physical postures that may be physically strenuous, the exposure to possible cat allergens, the exposure to scratches or bites from the kittens, being exposed to odors affiliated with kittens, and other potentially strenuous scenarios. Kitten Yoga at Flow Space involves postures, movements, and actions that are designed to involve every part of the body―stretching and toning the muscles and joints, the spine, and the entire skeletal system. This class also works towards bringing health to the internal organs, glands and nerves. This class incorporates sustained stretching to strengthen muscles and increase flexibility while being potentially climbed on and interacted with by baby felines. As is the case with any physical activity and any scenario involving live animals, the risk of injury and allergy (serious or disabling) is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. My signature acknowledges I understand that in Kitten Yoga I expose myself to these risks with full awareness, and that I will progress at my own pace. If I experience any pain or discomfort I will listen to my body, adjust the posture, ask for support from the teacher, ask for medical assistance, or leave the class. I will continue to breathe smoothly throughout the duration of the class I am attending. If at any point I feel overexertion, fatigue, physical pain, or allergic reactions, I will respect my body’s limitations and I will either rest before continuing the practice or leave if necessary and safe to do so. Kitten Yoga offered at Flow Space is not substitutes for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or professional treatment. It is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice immerse myself into this environment or to opt out of attending. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or hereafter may have against the business Flow Space, The Alachua County Humane Society, the Movement Arts instructors, the Flow Space's staff, and the building Flow Space operates within (117 NW 16th Avenue, Gainesville, Fl, 32666). By signing my name below, I acknowledge that participation in classes at Flow Space exposes me to a possible risk of personal injury. I am fully aware of this risk and hereby release the business Flow Space, the Non-Profit The Alachua County Humane Society, the Movement Arts instructors, the Flow Space's staff, and the building Flow Space operates within (117 NW 16th Avenue, Gainesville, Fl, 32666) from any and all liability, negligence, or other claims arising from or in any way connected with my participation in class at Flow Space. My signature further acknowledges that I shall not now or at any time in the future bring any legal action against the business Flow Space, the Non-Profit The Alachua County Humane Society, the Flow Space Movement Arts instructors, the Flow Space's staff, and the building Flow Space operates within (117 NW 16th Avenue, Gainesville, Fl, 32666) and that this waiver is binding on me, my heirs, my spouse, my children, my legal representatives, my successors and my assigns to this agreement of release of liability. My signature verifies that I am physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to participate in this Flow Space Kitten Yoga class and a licensed medical doctor has verified my physical condition for participation in this type of class. If I am pregnant or become pregnant or am post-natal, my signature verifies that I am participating in this Flow Space class with my doctor’s full approval. I realize that I am participating in this Flow Space class at my own risk. My signature (or the signature of my legal guardian if I am under the age of 18) is binding to this liability waiver from this day forth.
